She has produced sale toppers, herd bulls, replacement females and her daughter K A Lady Barbara 314 served as a donor cow in our herd. Her 2018 born flush daughters by SAV Renown were sale toppers in 2020. Her 2020 natural calf by SAV Checkmate was used in our herd to follow heifers. Her 2022 Fall born flush by Bear Mtn Justify produced a herd changing bull and 2 daughters that will help shape the future of our program. Her ET sons and daughters by Bear Mtn Justice and Sitz Feat will improve our herd. We lost 1009 in 2024 at 13 years of age.

DECEASED She is earning her spot in our herd with a featured 2020 bred heifer by Kramers Payweight 8007 in our 2021 sale and the first 2021 bull calf to sell by Bear Mtn Payweight 8825 to Charlie Braker from Alexander, IL. She has that classic Kiesewetter Angus maternal look with balanced EPD’s and exemplifies our “Optimums not Maximums” philosophy. Her 2022 daughter by Musgrave Exchange will join our donor herd in Fall 2024 along with 825 who has earned her spot on the donor team through her high-quality progeny at 6 years old. Her Fall 2025 ET calves by Ellingson Prosper and Bear Mtn Stealth are impressive.

We acquired 5006 in the 2021 Bear Mountain Angus Fall production sale, she is double bred to the iconic Forever Lady female line. Her strong maternal pedigree, balanced EPD’s, udder quality, perfect feet, production record and sound maternal body type fit right in here. Bear Mountain has retained all 3 of her daughters in their herd and we are excited to add her to our donor team. She is a maternal sister to the Alta Genetics bull stud sire Bear Mtn Stronghold so herd bull production is expected. Her Fall 2023 bull calves by Bear Mtn Justice were features in the 2025 Bear Mountain bull sale. Her Fall 2024 bull calves by Bear Mtn North Star and Ellingson Prolific are some of her best production yet and will sell in the 2026 Bear Mountain bull sale. We are retaining a daughter by Ellingson Prolific in our herd. Her production story is getting real good real fast!

DECEASED Our original Lady Barbara and was a $13,000 highlight of the 2008 Musgrave Angus sale. The Lady Barbara family is a foundation cow line for Musgrave Angus and is most noted for their maternal strength, perfect udders, excellent foot quality and longevity. She produced until she was over 18 years old and was sound in every way, she has 51 progeny in multiple herds recorded in AHIR. Her daughters and granddaughters have served as second and third generation Lady Barbara donors in our herd.

Her 2018 daughter by SAV Resource K A Lady Barbara 825 is earning her way to our donor team based on her excellent offspring.

We acquired a one third interest in this special young female best known as the dam of the STGenetics sensation BCC Rapport who was a $60,000 highlight of the Fall 2024 sale season in Montana. 58J stems from one of the greatest cow families in Angus history and specifically the breed icon Sitz Everelda Entense 1905. 58J has the classic maternal body type and balanced EPDs that will help us create more OPTIMUMS not MAXIMUMS. We are expecting ET progeny by Ellingson Prosper in Spring 2026. Our partners Barragree Cattle Company and Bear Mountain Angus have progeny on the ground!
