About Kiesewetter Angus

Kiesewetter Angus produces high quality cattle that will benefit purebred, commercial and club calf producers who want sound, functional breeding stock that will improve the quality and performance of their herd. We offer cattle and embryos for sale throughout the year. Our bulls are sold private treaty at the farm and through our marketing agreement with Brian Stoller at Bear Mountain Angus in Nebraska. Our females are sold private treaty at the farm and through our female production sale.

Meet Bear Mtn Pilot 1520. Bear Mtn Pilot 1520 was born on Jan 12, 2021 to Tehama Patriarch F028 (sire) and Bear Mtn Judy 6535 (dam).

Pilot was selected by Sitz Angus in Montana and Ellingson Angus in North Dakota for $40,000 in the 2022 bull sale to bring the Bear Mountain maternal genetics to their programs. Pilot’s dam is the $49,000 full sister to Bear Mtn Justify purchased by Tony Mayes at ZWT Ranch in TN in the 2022 Bear Mountain Fall production sale, she is moderate, maternal and has a perfect udder.

Our operation is located in the gently rolling hills of West Central Illinois in the Spoon River watershed 25 miles west of Peoria, IL. We make our home in Farmington, which was formed and grew during the coal strip mining days of the 1900's.

Over the past 40+ years, we have grown our operation to have pastures spread throughout Fulton County, as well as other counties in the area. We pride ourselves in caring for our rural area and welcome anyone interested to come see us in action.
